Begotten does not collect any data.
What the app collects
Nothing. This version of Begotten has no account system, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Network
This version of Begotten makes no network requests. Every translation, search index, and study note is bundled inside the app and read from the device, so the app functions identically with no connection.
What stays on your device
Your reading position, highlights, marks, and settings are stored locally on your device only. They are never transmitted. Removing the app removes them.
If you have iCloud device backup enabled, this local data may be included in your own device backup. That backup is controlled by you through Apple, and its contents are not accessible to the developer.
Notifications
If you enable the daily verse notification, it is scheduled locally by the device. No push server is involved and no token is transmitted.
Children
Begotten collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published at this URL with an updated date. If a future version of the app adds a feature that handles data differently, this policy will be updated before that version ships.
